The Making of the Rocket:

We began by securing our engine inside of a dime size coin roller and placing a paper clip along the outside, to keep the engine from falling out.

We then measured, and cut out two smaller sections to put around the engine roller to keep it in place inside the rocket body. Then we took the whole thing and glued it inside the bottom of the rocket.

Following that, we cut out a small piece of elastic and glued it onto the inside wall of the rocket body.

We measured and marked the body tube where we wanted to place our fins. Once we found our desired spots, we glued them on!

After the glue on the fins had dried, we attached the small straw onto the side of the body tube, where both the fin and tube meet.

We then created our nose cone out of strong bristle board. After this we made a parachute out of a small plastic bag, making small holes on the outside to weave string through. We then attached that string onto the inside of the nose cone, and also attached the elastic string.

We had then completed our rocket, and finished it off by painting it!
